The Talent Boot Camp cost will include all 4 classes below:
Launching Your Career or Your Child's Career:
This workshop is designed to educate aspiring actors, models and parents to the necessary steps toward becoming agency ready. The workshop will cover the importance of training who needs a portfolio and why, what the Carolinas can offer for actors or models costs involved in order to pursue this industry, Headshots vs. Composite Cards, what marketing tools are needed for the industry, what the agent expects from the talent, what is the agent's responsibility, what the casting directors expect from the talent, how to prepare a professional resume, how to book more auditions and higher-paying assignments, and we will discuss the differences between Exclusive vs. Non-Exclusive Contracts. Class Materials: Please bring Pen & Paper and any photos that you want us to review for possible headshot reproduction and your NDN Photo CD
Introduction to Runway & Commercial Modeling with Photo Posing Techniques: (Ages 7-Adult):
The purpose of this class is to introduce the new talent to the basic concepts and skills needed in order to suceed in the Modeling industry; such as commercial, print, and runway modeling. The photo posing session of this class is to teach aspiring models the correct poses needed to ensure a relaxed professional look while posing for runway shows, catalogs, print advertising, also for models looking to have strong photos for their composite card and portfolio tear sheets. This class is a wise decision and cost effective investments before shooting any professional modeling photos.

Commercial Audition Techniques (Ages 7-Adult):
Talent will be instructed in basic auditioning techniques and how to put together a professional acting resume. Commercial sides will be age appropriate material tailored for each actor, in this class you will learn: how to slate you name, proper etiquette required at an audition as well as on the set, how to maximize your commercial auditions, knowing your frame, how to relax and become more confident in your audition, what questions to ask before and during your audition, analyzing the script, the importance of having a professional headshot and resume, 1 on 1 written and verbal evaluation, video camera feedback will be used to evaluate the strengths and weakness of the Talent's "On Camera Audition". Class Materials: Pen & Paper (2) 8x10 headshots/with resumes attached. If you don't have headshots or resumes then please bring 2 snapshots of yourself and try to put together a resume to the best of your ability. If you don't have a snap shot of yourself a digital photo will be taken for an additional $5.00 - NO EXCEPTIONS
Pretend vs. Reality Workshop: (Ages 5 - 17):
"Theater, The Imagined an Enacted Worlds of Human Beings"
Theater is another art form in which students can learn what it means to be a human being in vicarious setting. In these classes student's thoughts and feelings can be safely explored and experienced. There will be script writing, role-playing, and development of characters in particular circumstances; they will create situations and actions that will allow them to make sense of their world and to understand those who are different from them. Class Materials: Pen & Paper only
